Getting Started

This guide will provide the steps to:

1. Register as an Asteroute customer.
2. Create an Asteroute service.
3. Create a Call Routing Plan - a set of instructions telling Asteroute how to provide the voice service
4. Register a SIP client and configure a SIP app on a smartphone
5. Use the SIP app to make a call to Asteroute - directing the call to the Asteroute service created earlier.

The steps to subscribe for a PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) service number will be described and how to direct the service number to an Asteroute service.

At this stage Asteroute does not offer PSTN services, but this giude will describe the process using a number of DID (Direct Incoming Dialled) service providers.
